Rice Krispies Treats
These babies are good! Made with lots of browned butter, lots of marshmallow and lots of salt. Plus a added bonus of vanilla bean just to make it more special.

- 2 cup Salted Butter 4 sticks
- 4 10 oz bags Dandies Mini Marshmallows
- 1 Vanilla Bean seeds removed
- 3 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 10 oz box Barbara's Bakery Organic Brown Rice Cereal
- 2 tbsp Jacobsen Flaky Sea Salt
In a large pot brown the 4 sticks of butter on the stovetop on medium heat. It will take about 10-12 minutes. You want the butter to be a deep golden brown color.
Turn heat to low and add the marshmallows, stirring consistently, scraping the bottom of the pot and folding the mixture.
Once the butter and marshmallows are combined turn off the heat. Add the vanilla bean and extract. Be carful the extract will bubble. Mix until combined.
Line a section of your countertop with plastic wrap and pour the cereal on top. Spread out a little and pour the marshmallow mixture on top.
When the mixture is cool enough to handle fold in the cereal and form into a square. Don't press too hard.
Sprinkle the top of the Krispy treats with a heavy hand of salt.
Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
