pure maple syrup
flaky sea salt
Preheat oven to 425
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Add pecans to the baking sheet and toss the maple syrup to coat
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the maple syrup has reduced into a hard candy
Make sure that you mix the pecans around a few times during the cooking process and keep a close eye on them. They can burn quickly!
Remove from oven and season with salt
Once cooled break up and store in an airtight container
Add different seasonings whem salting the pecans to change things up a bit. Diffenent flavors can be fun! Try adding chipotle powder to spice them up or thyme + rosmary for an herby punch.
