What areas do you serve?

We cook all around Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood to Martis Camp in Truckee. We also travel outside of the Lake Tahoe basin to other locations, homes and vacation destinations. Some travel fees will apply for locations more than 55 miles from South Lake Tahoe. We are open to your ideas!

How do you handle special diets and allergies?

The way we see it, each guest’s needs are important, whatever they are—and if there’s one thing we know will make someone feel left out, it’s being served a meal that’s entirely different than the rest of the table, so we won’t do that!
 
If you’ve got a food allergy or special diet we need to keep in mind, we’ll make sure we get to know a bit more about it so we can best plan your menu and prepare your food in a way that is safe for you (or your guests.) Chef Amy’s own experience with food allergies gives her a personal understanding that equips her to get creative even within the strictest confines.

what can we eat?

Anything is possible! Every client’s tastes and vision are unique. We like to get to know your likes and dislikes with ingredients and cuisine. Do you have special theme in mind? Do you have an idea of what you want to eat? Or, do you want to take a look at some of our featured menu offerings to get an idea of what is possible? We love to work with you to create a customized menu just for your group!

where do you shop for your ingredients?

We purchase all of our ingredients from local markets and farmer’s markets whenever possible — and when what we need is in season. We are committed to high-quality ingredients and strive to deliver organic and local items as often as possible.

how do i secure a date?

After a menu is selected and finalized, an estimate and contract will be put together for you to review and sign. To secure your date, 50% of the estimated cost is due along with the signed contract.

what forms of payment do you take?

Our contract agreement outlines all forms of accepted payment. We accept payments by check, credit card via Square, and venmo (@AMYPOWER). If you choose to pay using a credit card, fees will apply.
